Location: San Pedro Garza García, Monterrey (Mexico)— on-site
Schedule: Mon–Fri
Reports to: Production Manager

About the role
We’re a dental lab in San Pedro Garza García hiring a detail-obsessed QC Specialist to own two checkpoints: Design QC (before a case goes to mill/print) and Preship QC (before a case leaves the lab). You’re the last line of defense.

What you’ll do
Design QC (pre-mill/print)
• Review CAD designs in exocad / 3Shape against the RX and scans
• Verify margins, occlusal clearance, minimum thickness, connector sizing
• Check contacts, emergence profile, pontic form, embrasures
• Confirm design matches prescribed material and indication
• Send clear, specific feedback to designers on rework

Preship QC (pre-ship)
• Verify shade against RX under controlled lighting
• Confirm RX matches the finished case — tooth #s, material, design, attachments
• Check occlusion on articulator (static and excursive)
• Inspect margins under magnification
• Verify interproximal contacts
• Evaluate surface texture, polish, glaze, and overall aesthetics
• Approve or route back with specific notes

Requirements
• 5+ years in a dental lab (crown & bridge, all-ceramics, or implants)
• Strong CAD skills — exocad and/or 3Shape
• Solid grasp of dental anatomy, occlusion, and prosthetic principles
• Hands-on with zirconia, lithium disilicate, PMMA, PFM
• Spots what others miss; gives direct, professional feedback
• Must speak and write English — you’ll be reading US RX forms and communicating with the team in English

Nice to have
• CDT or equivalent certification
• Prior QC lead or lead-tech role
• Implant experience (screw-retained, custom abutments, full-arch)
• Additional clinical experience — dental assistant, hygienist, or dentist background
